We leave Marrakech early and drive over the High Atlas Mountains, passing through the Tizi N'Tichka pass at 2260 meters up. Our first big stop is the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a special old village that UNESCO protects. After that, we head to Ouarzazate to check out some cool places like the Kasbah Taourirt and some movie studios. Next, we drive to the Dades Valley, known for its many old fortresses, on the most scenic road. We end our day's journey in Boumalne Dadès, where we will have dinner and stay overnight.

Day 2: From Boumalne Dadès to Tinghir, Visit Todra Gorge, and Arrive at Merzouga Dunes 

In the morning, we leave Boumalne Dadès to the Merzouga desert dunes. After Tinghir, which is about 20 km away from Merzouga desert, we stop to see a beautiful grove and then go into the Todra Gorge. We have lunch there, then travel through the palm-filled areas of Tinjedad, Touroug, and Erfoud. The highlight of the day is reaching Merzouga desert, where we get to ride desert camels through the amazing Erg Chebbi sand dunes and watch the sunset in desert. We spend the night in traditional Merzouga desert tents or in a guest house right in the sand dunes of Merzouga desert.

Day 3: Travel from Merzouga to Fez 

Start your day with a sunrise trek over the Erg Chebbi dunes, then journey to Fez from Merzouga desert via the picturesque Ziz Valley along the Errachidia road. A lunch break in Midelt awaits before continuing to Imouzzar and Ifrane where you will have fun with monkeys you can feed them and take pictures prior to reaching Fez, where your Moroccan Merzouga desert adventure concludes with a drop-off at your hotel or Riad.
