Take a day trip that goes all the way across the High Atlas Mountains to Ouarzazate, including the famous Tizi N’Tichka pass, the highest in Africa. Where you'll see spot Berber villages on the mountain sides. They blend in so well with the mountain that you might not see them at first!

Once you get over the mountains, All looks different. everything becomes dry and desert-like. You'll see houses called "Kasbahs" with peach colored walls and towers. The houses have special windows which are made from mud brick, that's what keeps them cool.

The trip continues to Aït Ben Haddou then to the beautiful valleys. Kasbah Aït Ben Haddou is very old and listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage site. Then, you'll continue to Ouarzazate, town that people often call it the "Moroccan Hollywood" because many famous movies were filmed there, like (Lawrence of Arabia, Gladiator).

You can as well visit "Taourirt Kasbah" there, another UNESCO site, and maybe even check out the movie studio if you're interested. The journey offers amazing and beautiful sights, historical places, and see how movies are made...
